These terms govern your use of the Alirene Mykonos website (alirenemykonos.com) and the booking of accommodation with us. By browsing the site or making a reservation, you accept these terms in full.
Content & intellectual property
All text, photography and design on this site are the property of Alirene Mykonos or are used with permission. You may not reproduce, redistribute or commercially use any part of the site without our prior written consent.
Accuracy
We make every effort to keep room descriptions, photographs and prices up to date. Occasional inaccuracies may occur and we reserve the right to correct them at any time. Photographs are illustrative and individual rooms may vary in layout and finish.
Liability
Alirene Mykonos is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website or from your stay, except where such liability cannot be excluded by Greek law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Greek law. Any dispute arising in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Syros.
Booking & cancellation
Reservations made through our booking partner (alirenemykonos.reserve-online.net) are subject to the rate and policy chosen at the time of booking. Please review the conditions shown at checkout before confirming.
Check-in & check-out
- Check-in: from 14:00
- Check-out: by 11:00
- Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may carry an additional fee.
Cancellation
Free cancellation is generally available up to 14 days before arrival. Cancellations made later than this, or no-shows, may be charged the first night or the full stay depending on the rate selected at booking. Please refer to your reservation confirmation for the exact policy.
Payment
A valid credit card is required to guarantee every reservation. Payment is taken either at check-in or in advance depending on the rate. We accept Visa, Mastercard and most major cards. All prices are quoted in Euro and include VAT and local taxes unless stated otherwise.
Privacy policy
This policy explains how we collect and use personal data when you visit alirenemykonos.com or stay with us. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Greek Data Protection Act.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us — name, email, phone — when you make a reservation or send an enquiry.
- Booking details — arrival/departure dates, room type, number of guests, special requests.
- Identification data required by Greek law at check-in (passport or ID number).
- Technical information — IP address, browser, device, anonymised analytics — collected automatically when you use the site.
How we use your data
We use your data only to manage your reservation, communicate with you about your stay, comply with our legal obligations, and improve our services. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Who we share data with
- Our booking partner (Reserve Online) — to process reservations.
- Payment processors — to take payment securely.
- Greek authorities — where the law requires us to (e.g. guest registration).
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, write to info@alirenemykonos.com.
How long we keep data
Reservation data is kept for the period required by Greek tax and tourism law (currently 7 years). Marketing data (if you have opted in) is kept until you unsubscribe.
Photography credits
A small selection of secondary photographs on this site — used on the Location page, the Contact and Gallery hero images, and the "What's around" cards — are free-licence photographs from Unsplash.com, used under the Unsplash licence. Credit goes to the original photographers, whose names are encoded in each filename: Biel Morro, Iam Os, Briana Tozour, Piermario Eva, Thiago Neves, Patrick McGregor, Taisia Karaseva, Hongbin, Dimitris Kiriakakis, Daniel.
All other photography — interiors, the pool and garden, the property exterior — was commissioned for Alirene Mykonos and remains our property.
